Samaritan’s Purse

Each year, Rockwood Baptist Church is honored to take part in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children around the world. Through this outreach, we pack shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and heartfelt notes. These simple gifts are delivered to children in need across the globe, opening the door for Gospel-centered conversations and introducing many to the message of hope found in Christ for the very first time.

It’s more than just a box—it’s a powerful opportunity for our church to make a global impact from right here at home. Whether through packing, praying, or donating, every member of our congregation has a chance to be part of the mission. We believe that a small act of generosity can be the start of a life-changing journey, and we’re thankful to partner with Samaritan’s Purse to help bring joy, faith, and the Good News to children in over 100 countries.
